The Death of Osama bin Laden

It was reported last night that American troops killed Osama bin Laden after raiding his hide out in Pakistan and then buried him at sea within 24 hours without any pictures or evidence. This whole thing sounds very fishy and unbelievable to me. You find a man that you have been searching for, for almost a decade murder him and then burry him off to sea to respect his religious beliefs. When has anyone ever been killed and then their religion been taken into account. Wouldn't it have been in his religious beliefs to stay alive? Either you kill the man and allow Americans to see his body as a form of closure or you leave him alone. The way the story is reported makes it seem like he was not killed. Maybe he died of natural causes and the US never had his body in custody. Even if Osama was killed by US troops what good would that do today? Would killing bin Laden cause other al-Qaeda members to take actions against the United States? The death of Osama bin Laden will give many who were effected by the events of September 11th a sense of closure but what is the real historical significance if any? I guess only time will tell.
